Another option in treats is biscuits. These can be used to supplement an all-meat food, if that is what your are feeding your dog. Biscuits are also good for your dog's teeth because as with dry food, the abrasiveness of chewing biscuits helps to scrape plaque off his teeth.


Biscuits are also a good training tool. When your dog obeys a command you've given him, you can use a biscuit as a reward. This will help you to give your dog positive reinforcement when he does something right, instead of punishing him when he does something wrong.
